TATTOO FAQs

  • Each of our artists manage their own bookings individually. Please visit your chosen artist’s page via the Artists section where you can contact them directly using their enquiry form. Provide as much detail as you can to make the booking process as easy as possible.

  • Please allow 7-14 days for a response, and keep an eye on your junk folder. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

  • If you feel an in-person consltation is necessary let your artist know when you fill out their enquiry form. For larger scale work, or more complex pieces, your artist may require you to call in for a consultation in advance of the appointment.

  • Your artist will have your design ready when you arrive for your appointment (unless the piece is to be drawn-on/freehand). You are welcome to make any adjustments to the design at that time. It is not possible for us to send designs in advance of your appointment.

  • Try to get a good night's sleep and have something to eat beforehand. Avoid drinking alcohol the night before, and bring something to drink and some snacks with you if you're booked in for a larger piece. Avoid tanning, and remove any fake tan from the area prior to your appointment.

  • We kindly ask that you attend your appointment alone. Thank you.

  • Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer (or card with Rhian only).

  • Sometimes our artists will decide to close their books if they are receiving a large volume of enquiries, to help manage the wait time on appointments. If your chosen artist’s books are currently closed keep an eye on their social media for announcements of when they’ll reopen.

  • Please refer to our aftercare advice page for information on how to care f for your new tattoo.

PIERCING FAQS

  • Yes, physical ID is required for all piercings, we cannot accept photographs/photocopies. Please bring one of the following to your appointment: passport, provisional/full driving license, PASS card, CitizenCard.

  • We understand getting piercings can be stressful, and Sarah can accommodate if you want to bring one person with you for support. Please ensure that if you are bringing a support person that they are also over 16.

  • Unfortunately not. All of the jewellery Sarah uses is purchased from professional suppliers and has been verified as safe for piercing. She cannot pierce with anything else as it is impossible to independently verify if it meets quality standards.

  • This can depend on what piercings you want, but a general rule is not to have anymore than 3 piercings healing at any one time. Getting too many piercings at once, or in a short space of time, can heighten the risk of issues and infections and leave you vunerable to illness.

  • Try to get a good night's sleep and have something to eat beforehand. Avoid drinking alcohol (or taking any recreational drugs) the night before, and make sure you are hydrated. Don’t pinch or otherwise irritate the area, and avoid applying anything to the skin in the area to be pierced.

  • If you have any questions, worries or issues, send Sarah a message and let her know. Healing a piercing is a process, but she’s here to help you through it!

  • Everyone’s body is unique. This means some piercings are only possible for certain people. Before you get a piercing, Sarah has to ensure you have the anatomy to support the piercing you want. Unfortunately this isn’t always possible, and when the piercing is unsuitable she will try to find an alternative one that will suit you and your own unique anatomy.

  • Cash payments are preferred, and Sarah can also accept bank transfers.

  • There is no 100% accurate answer for this. Everyone heals differently. Some piercings take longer based on area pierced, lifestyle, health and how well it is looked after. Piercings can take up to a year to fully heal.

There is no lotion or potion that will make your piercing heal faster, but following aftercare advice and keeping yourself in good health will help to prevent any issues or complications.

  • Please refer to our aftercare advice page for information on how to care for your new piercing

  • If you have any concerns please consult your GP.

    Exceptions cannot be made.
